A 5km run/walk in memory of Chris Owens
All net proceeds go to supporting The Hub Hamilton. A non-profit organization with a mission to improve access to services and resources for youth using a client-centered approach that identifies and addresses individual needs while promoting an inclusive community.
11am event start time with BBQ, live music, and youth resources to follow the run/walk
There will be prizes to be given to highest fundraisers!

About Chris Owens:
Chris Owens was a vibrant and magnetic individual who lost his battle to the difficult world of mental health and addiction on August 20th, 2021; he was 26 years old.
Chris grew up in Waterdown, Ontario attending Guardian Angels and Waterdown Highschool and is known around the community as a charming and charismatic man, known for touching and enhancing the lives of each person he met, stranger or family.
Chris often found peace in running. He was an impressive cross-country runner throughout elementary school and continued to run almost daily wherever he was in the world.
