A Unique Live Music Experience at the Farmers’ Market
Visit the Waterdown Farmers’ Market for special entertainment before, during or after your Market shopping. James N. Wilson performs a 45-minute sets at 10:30 AM and then The Vaudevillian takes the stage at 11:30 AM.
Bring your own lawn chair and stay awhile. Grab a coffee and food at the market and sit in our eating area while you take in the sounds. Make it a part of your day in Waterdown Village, where you can continue on to a patio for lunch, explore trails, and visit the Smokey Hollow Waterfall.
10:30am James N. Wilson
James N. Wilson is a Mohawk and French-Canadian Musician. He has performed his music all around North America sharing the stage with many artists such as Buffy Sainte Marie, Derek Miller, Logan Staats, and DJ Shub. In 2017 he had the opportunity to sing back-up for “Lorde” at the Much Music Video Awards in Toronto, Canada. Recently he released his debut album “Tidal Wave” which was produced by Jace Martin at Jukasa Studios on Six Nations. The jugband tunes from the award winning Hamilton based 1930’s duo,The Vaudevillian consists of the old fashioned gentleman, Jitterbug James & sweet & sassy Norah Spades. This ragtime duo brings you dancing numbers from the prohibition period! Thank goodness PROHIBITION IS OVER! In addition to performing at Festivals & Theatres around Canada, The USA & Europe, they host interactive Washboard Workshops and interactive Musical Spoon Workshops all across the country and to date have taught over 2000+ participants.
