Show Your Love for Local Businesses
Hamilton Day is a one-day shopping event to reignite community pride and lend support to local and small businesses across the city. On November 5th, show some love to your favourite retailers, restaurants, and services.
Hamilton Day is a day for all Hamiltonians. Small and local businesses are encouraged to engage and share their participation. Sign up at www.hamiltonday.ca Consumers are encouraged to support and shop at both new and loved establishments.
Hamilton Day was first held in 1931 during the depths of the Great Depression, as a way of rallying spirits in the midst of adversity. In 2021, the Hamilton Chambers of Commerce (Hamilton, Flamborough, Stoney Creek) re-launched Hamilton Day to support small businesses through the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year Hamilton Day returns to Waterdown Village with Hamilton Day Bucks at participating businesses, prizes and entertainment. Follow @waterdownvillage for updates and check below for participating businesses.
You’ll find Piper Hayes and James N. Wilson popping in and out of participating businesses with musical performances too!
