About the Artists
Bhairavi Jathar Talpade
Bhairavi Jathar Talpade is a multi-disciplinary artist and educator based in Hamilton. Her works have been exhibited in shows across Canada, India, and the UK. She painted live in front of a large audience at the Art Gallery of Hamilton during a regional event, and her banner artwork, titled “Lively Winter,” is displayed on the streets of Waterdown, Hamilton. Bhairavi also had music-themed artwork showcased at the Anne Foster Window. Additionally, she is a recipient of grants from the City of Hamilton for a community project. Bhairavi participated as a member of the adjudication team for a citywide open call, which contributed to enhancing the city’s art scene.

Carol Nasvytis
Carol Nasvytis is a lifelong artist who began her career specializing in chalk illustrations for the food and beverage industry. Her transition to metal as a medium ten years ago sparked an exciting new expression of creativity. Carol’s work captures fleeting moments inspired by nature and forges them into beautiful permanent sculptural pieces. The process is rough and dirty – the results are serene and peaceful. Carol’s creations can be found nestled harmoniously in gardens, public spaces and homes across the province and country.
