Grindstone Creek Bridge Construction Project

The City of Hamilton will replace the Grindstone Creek Bridge on Dundas Street East (Highway 5) between Mill Street and Reynold Street in Waterdown. This replacement is required due to the age and condition of the bridge.

Stage 1 Lane Restrictions

May – December 2025

One lane in the eastbound direction (going towards Burlington) will be open to vehicular traffic, and the sidewalk on the north side of the bridge will be open.
