SPRING INTO ACTION, SAT., MAY 3, 9 AM TO 12 NOON
Join us as we spring into action, cleaning up and digging in to beautify downtown Waterdown Village. We’re hosting a fun CommUNITY-building day and are seeking volunteers who don’t mind rolling up their sleeves and getting their hands dirty.
If you enjoy fresh air, exercise and the camaraderie of other civic-minded neighbours, consider joining our ‘Team Up to Clean Up’ crew. You’ll spend the morning walking the Village to pick up litter, giving our winter-weary streetscape a spring refresh.
If you’re a gardening enthusiast, you may prefer to volunteer for our CommUNITY Renewal Green Thumb Crew*. We’ll pass you a shovel (or bring your own) to work alongside our partners at the Flamborough Horticultural Society to weed, amend and mulch public garden beds preparing them for summer flowers.
- Receive a FREE CommUNITY Renewal T-shirt
- Enjoy light refreshments and local swag
- Feel great about doing good things while earning our undying appreciation 😊
- Gain volunteer hours (high school students)
Meet us at the Legion parking lot at 79 Hamilton St. N. on the morning of May 3 to receive bags, gloves, T-shirt and assignments. May 10 rain date if event is postponed due to weather.
