The trees have budded out, plants are bursting from their winter sleep and the farmers who feed us are busy in their fields. It’s all pointing in the direction of our favourite celebration of spring – the return of the Waterdown Farmers’ Market!
On Saturday, May 24, the Waterdown Village community will come together as they have for the preceding 11 years to launch a new season of the best local Farmers’ Market in the area. It takes a Village to put the unity in community and that collaboration will be on full display Saturday mornings right here in the heart of Waterdown, from the end of May until the middle of October.
Join us as hardworking farmers, small batch producers, creative artisans, local merchants and philanthropic community leaders gather in the front parking lot of the Royal Canadian Legion at 79 Hamilton Street to connect with friends and visitors. There has never been a better time to learn, share and support the people who strive to build a strong neighbourhood and economy.
