Beautifying and maintaining the aesthetic and safety of the Waterdown Business Improvement Area (BIA) is an important part of our mandate. That’s why we’re excited to find someone who enjoys working outdoors and is good with their hands, a shovel or a paint brush and who will take pride in keeping the downtown core sparkling. Do you know a thing or two about gardening and aren’t afraid to play in the dirt? Do you like working on your own and as part of a team when needed? Are you enthusiastic about our community and look forward to lending a hand with the set-up of the weekly Waterdown Farmers’ Market on Saturday mornings, as well as the set-up and coordination of TryDay Tuesdays (an exciting free fitness in the park initiative)?
This is a temporary seasonal position starting the middle of May until the middle of August 2026. 30 hours per week paying $18.60/hour. We’d love to hear from you if this opportunity sounds like a good fit.
