Give a Little Time, Get a Big Reward

Community events like the annual Treat Walk & Pet Parade and the Winterdown Community Tree Lighting, help bring people together in downtown Waterdown Village to celebrate and experience what makes Waterdown special. Waterdown Village events are hosted by BIA businesses but would not be possible without the support of community partners and volunteers. And that’s where you come in. We’re looking for volunteers to help make BIA events happen. Whether chipping in a few hours ahead of time to help prepare for events, or assisting with set-up, clean-up or running activities on event day, we always need extra hands onboard to ensure events are fun, safe and successful.

Volunteer opportunities are great for:

  • Students looking to log community hours in a fun, social and energetic environment

  • Residents new to Waterdown looking to meet neighbours, get involved and learn more about the community

  • BIA business teams seeking ways to give back while engaging with local families and potential customers (register as a team and come branded to host a planned activity)

  • Seniors and work-from-homers looking for more interaction and opportunities to be with people of all ages

If this sounds like you, we could use your help. There are lots of days and ways you participate. View available shifts and duties and SignUp HERE. Because the only thing possibly better than attending a Waterdown Village event might be volunteering for one!
